Dear Friends and Fans of Newport Harbor Football:

 On behalf of the Newport Harbor Football Booster Club, I would like to personally welcome all of you to Davidson Field for the 2006 football season.  This is an exciting year for the program as we move up to the Sunset League.  Our coaching staff has stepped up the summer program to meet the challenges of Division I football and we should be very proud of our young men and the hard work and discipline they have shown.

 The Newport Harbor Football Booster Board has been working throughout the summer raising money in support of the football program to ensure that the Newport Harbor program is able to compete at the highest level. Besides the normal football operating budget which the Board funds 100%, we were able to raise additional money this year to replace the existing audio visual equipment which was approximately 15 years old.  The film room and associated equipment is now state of the art and much more user friendly to use and watch.  Please visit our website at www.newportharborfootball.com for current information, activities and game photographs.

 I want to thank everyone who has participated in the Booster events this year, which helps to raise the monies for this quality football program.  I also want to thank Coach Jeff Brinkley for successfully leading this quality football program for the past 21 years and also to thank his dedicated coaching staff.

 On behalf of the Newport Harbor Football Booster Board, Mary and I wish all of the Newport football teams a successful 2006 season.
